In addition to producing loud clicking noises 'mechanically'
from its modified wing feathers, male Golden-collared Manakins perform
a very elaborate and physically demanding courtship dance.
Conversely, females prefer males that perform elements of the dance
faster, and that demonstrate better motor coordination.
